About us

This is the gentleman who started it all, his name was Nils Enqvist. Born in 1933, he grew up in Kemi, Finland and spent part of his childhood in Sweden as a war child during the Finnish Winter War between Finland and the Soviet Union.

When he turned 17 he became a sailor and spent 11 years at sea without returning home. Later, he returned to Finland and began working at Nautor Swan, where he contributed to the construction of their first sailing yachts.

He also had his lamination company called Båtbyggeri Enqvist which is running still today by his son.
Having operated in the maritime industry for generations, we carry forward this legacy of expertise and commitment to quality in all our endeavors.
